Today, 34 Ag Mechanics students got to tour the new apprenticeship training center for Carpenters Union, Local 619. They got to hear about job opportunities in San Diego, meet some young apprentices, and get their thoughts on the program.

Today Monday, January 27th, is a late start day, with the first bell at 9:20 A.M. Buses will pick up 1.5 hours later than normal. We will see you at 9:20. Drive safely. -JHS

Ag Mechanic students finished their electrical unit and got to test their circuits to see if their light bulb and switch setup were correct.

Today was exciting for the Robotics class at Julian High School, as students participated in a friendly competition between teams. The energy and enthusiasm were high as the teams showcased their skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Thank you to Mr. Martin for teaching our students about robotics and guiding them through this program. His dedication and expertise have inspired our students to collaborate and think critically as they design, build, and program their robots.
We’re proud of our Robotics students for their hard work and innovation, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth in this program.
Real-World Skills in Career Tech -
Today was exciting for our Career Tech students, who rolled up their sleeves and tackled a hands-on electrical project. With the guidance of their instructor, Melissa Krogh, students learned about things like wiring and sockets, gaining valuable skills that will serve them well in the future.
Well done to our Career Tech students for diving in with such enthusiasm.

We want to thank Mrs. Eleanor Burns for graciously inviting students into her home to introduce them to the art of quilting.
Under Mrs. Burns' guidance, the students created beautiful Christmas stockings that turned out wonderfully. We are incredibly grateful to her for sharing her skills and introducing our students to the basics of quilting.
The students loved this creative and meaningful experience. They are already asking when they can go back! Thank you again, Mrs. Burns, for your generosity!
This Friday is a Minimum Day with dismissal at 12PM and buses will depart right after school. Reminder we are off Monday December 23rd and we return to school January 6th. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
